If you would like to learn more about this area, please get in touch, and we will be more than happy to assist you.

There are many reasons to love life in Vauxhall

You might not have given Vauxhall too much of a thought of late, but there are many reasons why this is an excellent place to stay in the capital. There is a lot of modernisation work taking place in Vauxhall, and you have a vibrant town centre which acts as a tremendous hub for the community.

Of course, one of the strongest reasons people have for living in Vauxhall is that you are so well connected to the rest of the capital. Whether you want a good base for work or play, this is an area that shouldn’t give you any problems.

You will also find that there is plenty of space by the river to go for a walk, jog, run or even a casual stroll with your dog. We wouldn’t say Vauxhall is a place that offers peace and quiet, it is pretty lively, but you can take things easy by The Thames.

It is also a fair argument to say Vauxhall is better suited to young professionals and couples as opposed to families. There is sometimes noise thanks to the great range of bars and restaurants in the local area, but it all depends on what stage you are at in your life.

How is the Vauxhall housing market faring as we move into 2022?

According to Rightmove, at the start of 2022, the Vauxhall housing market is faring as follows;

Properties in Vauxhall had an overall average price of £754,177 over the last year.

The majority of sales in Vauxhall during the last year were flats, selling for an average price of £673,598. Terraced properties sold for an average of £1,177,869, with detached properties fetching £3,250,000.

Overall, sold prices in Vauxhall over the last year were 15% down on the previous year and 26% down on the 2014 peak of £1,015,421.”

The fall in sold prices in Vauxhall isn’t much to be alarmed about, as this has happened in many parts of the London housing market. There is confidence that house prices in 2022 will rise, and this means that it could be a good time for Vauxhall property owners to place their home onto the market.

If you are considering selling your Vauxhall home, we will be more than happy to represent you. We are pleased to say we have brought many vendors and buyers together in the local area, and we look forward to helping you as much as we can in 2022.
